The 2010 Rodeo Drive Concours d’Elegance celebrated 75 years of Jaguar and the launch of the company’s all-new XJ model. The event was themed “A DIFFERENT ROAD” and featured more than a hundred classic collector cars, including a selection of celebrated vintage Jaguars, as well as test drives of the all-new 2010/2011 model line-up. The event also partnered with Italian automaker Ferrari to showcase the new Ferrari California and 458 Italia, all displayed on the world-renowned street.

The annual Father’s Day event included hundreds of superb automobiles and entries included Classic Cars 1925 – 1948, Pre-1975 American Cars, Muscle Cars, Sports Cars, European Cars, Woodys, Hot Rods, Customs, Race Cars, Vintage Motorcycles and special interest vehicles from throughout Southern California and the Western United States. In addition, automobiles of celebrities such as Mel Torme, Patrick Dempsey, and Colby Donaldson were featured this year.

From that remarkable selection of vehicles, seven were distinguished with awards. Those awards included, “Mayor’s Award” (1952 Cadillac Custom called "Elvis 2"); “Ritmo Mundo Award for Coolest Motorcycle” (1929 Harley Davidson JDH 2-CAM); “Chairman’s Award” (Timbs Special); “Icon Award” (1954 Ferrari Mondial); “2010 Jaguar Best In Class Award” (Jaguar D-Type Long-Nose Racer); “Rodeo Drive Award for Most Stylish” (1934 Cadillac 355 D Convertible Coupe); and “2010 Svend Ingerslev Award for Best in Show” (1934 Packard 1108, Twelve).

The Rodeo Drive Concours d’Elegance is a Father’s Day tradition, which attracts tens of thousands of Southern California residents and tourists. The event is free and open to the public.
